Meet the Team

Ann Ruddy

Founder & CEO

Founder and CEO Ann Ruddy is an award-winning entrepreneur with a background in project management and product innovation.

Working in partnership with experts from around the globe, Ann has created and developed a macroalgae biomass supply chain from site acquisition, licensing and procurement and seeks to provide employment and opportunity to rural coastal communities using unique, environmentally sound processing techniques.

With a strong social conscience and passion for sustainable aquaculture, she was recently awarded a 2021 Thought Leader accreditation by the All Ireland Business Foundation. Ann lives by the seashore in Erris, County Mayo.

Sven Hars

Sven is a distinguished expert in brand strategy with over 25 years of invaluable experience in the franchise sector.

He has played pivotal roles in crafting and enhancing the identities of renowned international enterprises such as McDonald's and Burger King.

Sven offers invaluable assistance and counsel to both startups and established businesses on matters concerning franchise structure and strategy.

Furthermore, he holds a prestigious Business degree from the University of Cologne.

Vincent Bijman

Vincent Bijman stands at the forefront of sustainable agriculture and horticulture, armed with a wealth of experience and expertise. With a comprehensive understanding of diagnostics, bacteriology, mycology, virology, entomology, weed science, and plant production, Vincent is uniquely positioned to address the pressing challenges facing growers today.
